Training Analysis and
Co-ordination:
A New Day provides a
personal, professional and cost effective service of
finding the correct courses, training and trainers for
your organisation.
This service involves a
full training analysis of staff, identification of
individual learning style; assistance with C.V.'s;
identification of specific training for job roles;
assistance in claiming funding and induction into
training courses.
Costs for these services vary depending
upon the size of the organisation and their individual
requirements. Please contact us for further details.
Regulation 33 visits undertaken
and reports processed.

Courses
Training Courses available for delivery in the workplace
or off site, if required:
The training courses advertised will be charged at £50 per learner. Minimum groups of 6 learners. The following courses are currently available to book on line
through the LWDP - or contact us to discuss further.

Sector;
Next
course running for 12 weeks starting on Tuesday, 2nd
June 2009. The sessions will run from 6:30 pm to
9:30 pm and will be held at The Island, South
Promenade, Lytham St Annes, Lancs. FY8 1LS -

NVQ in Health & Social Care: Children & Young People, Level 3

The Role of the Reflective Practitioner;
The
following courses are currently being updated and/or reviewed:-
- Basic Child Care skills and team working;
- Specific Child Care approaches and skills appropriate to the home's purpose and function;
- Setting the boundaries in residential Child Care;
- Recording skills;
- Communicating with Children, including those with disabilities;
- Anti - bullying;
- Introduction to N.V.Q.;
- Basic Computer skills;
- Co-ordinator Training;
NVQ levels 3 and 4 will be charged at £800. This cost will include 25 hours of
assessment for level 4 candidates and 30 hours of assessment for level 3. The
assessment hours are to include induction, planning, feedback, review, table top assessment and direct observation.
Travel costs will be negotiated with companies as this will vary depending on transport used car, train or bus.
